The mission of the PaddleFit educational program is to provide a fun and informative educational environment that trains and graduates PaddleFit ambassadors that in turn, provide a fun and safe SUP and fitness experience for their clients. Our educational program will guide you in the direction that you want to go, whether that will be providing basic lessons and rentals, teaching SUP technique and fitness classes or coaching the next generation of elite athletes. From Level 1 through our Affiliate program, our focus will start off with water safety and progress towards advanced coaching and fitness techniques. We are constantly working and refining the program at PaddleFit HQ in San Diego California (also known as Area 33). Our team is dedicated to providing you with a tested system that you can learn and implement in your area. PaddleFit is also an educational provider for the top 3 fitness certification bodies, so you will be able to earn Continuing Educational Credits (CEC's) from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and American Council on Exercise (ACE).

PaddleFit Level One is a foundational course with the nucleus being water safety including the laws and regulations surrounding SUP. Level 1 will also cover industry knowledge such as equipment design and proper equipment sizing as well as basic paddling and teaching skills in a group setting. PaddleFit has partnered with the WPA (www.worldpaddleassociation.com) on the Level 1 course so you will receive the educational component for the WPA Class 1.

PaddleFit Level Two builds on the foundation of Level 1 with the emphasis now being on coaching and fitness. This course will allow you to work more in-depth on paddling skills as well as develop training programs. Level 2 will cover group dynamics, class management and introduce you to program development. We will discuss the client technique progression and show you the cues and tools to use to facilitate this.

PaddleFit Level Three is all about becoming an advanced to elite level coach. Our focus will be on advanced level PaddleFit teaching techniques and cues. We will cover developing a complete fitness and training program which will include topics like understand and evaluating your client goals and needs, physical assessments, program periodization and program implementation. You will leave this course with the tools you need to empower your clients and get them on the path to a happy and healthy PaddleFit lifestyle!

You have gone through the PaddleFit Certification program (1-3) and now you want your own PaddleFit training center. Through our licensing program you will gain access to everything that PaddleFit has to offer. We want you to be a part of the PaddleFit movement and make an impact in your community and in you clients lives. The program is up and running and level 3 students will receive a full breakdown of the affiliate program at the end of the course. Welcome to the PaddleFit Family!
PaddleFit offers classes all year long and in various locations throughout the US and beyond. Our goal is to offer classes in as many different regions as possible but we understand that you still might have to travel to get to one of our classes.
We want to be as accommodating as possible so we offer Level 1 and Level 2 together at a discounted rate. Taking the courses on back to back days will allow you to immerse yourself into both the water safety aspects of our program as well as the fitness and coaching components.
We highly encourage you to bring your own equipment. We understand that you might be traveling to come to the class so we have partners at each location that you can rent equipment.
It is difficult for us to recommend accommodations because everyone has a different budget so we suggest that you use a travel website such as Kayak.com to find your accommodations. We have included a map of the class location to assist you in finding accommodations.
Wear what you normally wear when you paddle. There is one section of the class that you will get wet so you should dress accordingly and in some areas this might mean a wetsuit.
PaddleFit does not provide lunch. We will break for an hour each day for lunch and all classes have restaurants nearby or you are also welcome to bring your own food.
The short answer is no. Our goal is to provide you the best educational experience possible and because of this we do not offer group discounts. We believe that you will make your money back several fold from the knowledge gained and the experience of the class.
